PAL Golf
Dunn PAL started its first Golf Program in the summer of 2004. School Resource Officer Byron Tyndall started the program from scratch. The golf program started with 20 youth in 2004 and went up to 27 youth in 2005. If it were not for a local golf course the golf program would not survive. The local golf course that provides us great assistance is Pine Hills South Golf Course in Erwin, North Carolina.
The PAL Golf Program receives funding from local contributors, the Dunn PAL Annual Golf Tournament, Grants and Hook-A-Kid On Golf. The PAL Golf Program is divided into three stages: Tee Level - Beginner Level Intermediate Level Advanced Level We are currently looking a volunteer to head this program for summer 2008.
